This chest takes its inspiration from a chest of drawers made by an unknown rural cabinetmaker in eastern Massachusetts or Southern Hampshire in the 1800s, now in the Colonial Williamsburg collections.
The interior features an elegant cream faux suede lining, accented with handsome wood partions, and the inside lid reveals a full mirror.
The well is fitted with ring bars, earring compartments and two spacious areas divided by a movable partition. Its two deep drawers are partitioned to hold larger pieces.
